Capitalised in full scale, when young Lutens attached importance to things, times and places, systematically capitalising the names that fascinated him. A luminous Middle Ages was born from this childhood obsession.

"Sandalwood written in capitals, life-size: "Oboedi silentiis meis non imperii" - "Obey my silences, not my orders". Transforming into a powdery scent under the influence of bitter cocoa, sandalwood sinks into a velvet trap."
