On the Island, there are psychedelic places and scents, sublime atmospheres that only the warmth can provide – the heat of the wind, the subtle scent of citrus, yuzu lemonades, day and night, on the horizon. That same year, after a long time, I returned to Sicily and Japan; it was the summer of '23. Lemonades at the old port, children running through the sunny streets of the kasbah, the warm wind on the beaches, a sip of amaro every evening, dear friends from distant worlds. I wandered through the luminous streets of Mazara del Vallo, my hometown, watching the sun hit my body, my joy rediscovering childhood. It was all there: my land, my love, my friends, my most intimate ties.
Isola is a state of mind, perceiving that water surrounds us, and that this pure element keeps us isolated yet protects us. It was the same summer; I walked the Japanese streets, taking refuge in the shadows of tranquil gardens, listening to time, watching the warm August sun.
In Isola, I recounted my love for life, the contrast and union of two different cultures.
Isola is a citrusy perfume that tells the story of two important places in my life, in my memory, through its Lemon and Yuzu notes.

Isola is a sparkling perfume, like a can of Yuzu drunk in summer on the streets of Tokyo. Isola is like a fresh lemonade drunk in the Sicilian summer heat, looking at the sea on the horizon, rich with lights and reflections, our happy gaze bathed in the sun and the salty sea water. Isola is my turn towards the light. Fresh notes and absence of darkness – this is Meo's great olfactory revolution in this perfume, the great challenge.
To tell the happiness of an unforgettable summer through a fresh Yuzu lemonade. I had a wish: to make this sensation infinite. Now, it's all true.
