Penhaligon's - Halfeti

Penhaligon's "Trade Routes" collection encompasses a vast array of exotic raw materials that arrived on the docks of London at the end of the 19th century. London, known as "the world's warehouse"; its overflowing docks showcased opulence and magic with fragrant potpourris, teas, spices, silks, pearls, and rum. All enclosed in the holds of merchant ships threatened by privateer ships and pirates under the push of the Trade Winds.
This rich collection offers a magical journey to distant lands. Halfeti is an opulent woody floral, lit by the golden light of saffron, adorned with bright citrus, green artemisia, and woody cypress. An exquisite faceted rose, set like a precious jewel in a delightful floral bouquet, opens to the abundance of brown patchouli, which blends into a mélange of resins, oud, and amber, and leads to the base note of velvety sandalwood and soft suede leathers.
